Celebrate Winter Reading 2020 @ the Virginia Public Library!
From January 6th to March 6th, we have free events and activities at the library for the adults in the community. This year, people of all ages–from infants to 100 year-olds–are invited to celebrate winter reading with us! All you have to do is read books to win awesome prizes at the library!

click on the North Star to sign up
Signing up is easy: Come in to the library, or go online by clicking the North Star button above. Then log the minutes you’ve read online, and come in to the library to enter your raffle tickets toward your chosen prize!
You can earn a raffle ticket for every hour you spend reading – and your reading material can be anything from magazines, blog posts, books, audio books, e-books, newspapers and more! Reading for 10 hours also earns you a collectible Celebrate Winter Reading button.
As before, attending a library program earns you a raffle ticket, as does writing five substantial book reviews.
