DESCRIPTION:Born in Biwabik\, Minnesota\, David Setnicker wrote the story of Schatzie the basset hound’s adventures years ago while living in California. Lost on the Fourth of July is based on a true story and with charm and humor blends Setnicker’s Slovenian heritage with the cultural rich ness of life in a small town on the Iron Range.  Lupi McGinty’s comics and illustrations have appeared in The Nib\, My Little Pony\, Votes for Women\, and the award-winning indie series Cartozia Tales. She has exhibited in the U.S. and abroad\, with work appearing in Fanzines Festival Paris\, the Harvard Radcliffe Institute\, and galleries right here in Minnesota.
