This year the Virginia Public Library Winter Reading Program is participating in Zoobean’s annual winter reading challenge, #WinterRead2021: Books Like Us, sponsored by Simon & Schuster publishing. Challenge yourself to read authors from Books Like Us.

- Track your minutes to earn tickets for the raffle
- Complete the activities to earn more tickets for the raffle
- Complete the challenge by February 26 to earn the 2021 completion button!
Start reading January 4, 2021 and your minutes and activities will get you tickets for a raffle basket and, as an added bonus, all minutes read in the month of January earn the Virginia Public Library an opportunity to win a virtual visit from an author from Simon & Schuster’s Books Like Us list!
In addition to our Winter Reading Program we have created a BINGO sheet for February, also known as I Love to Read month. This BINGO sheet will be included in curbside pickup bags during the month of February and includes reading prompts and fun activities to do at home. These BINGO sheets are designed for participants of all ages. Once you have marked down one or more BINGOs (five activities in a row) you earn a button of your choice featuring adorable winter animals and artwork.
