Meet the author w/ Cary J Griffith

Cary J Griffith is the author of bestselling nonfiction books Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters, Gunflint Burning: Fire in the Boundary Waters, and Lost in the Wild. His nonfiction titles share true stories of survival and courage in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Cary J Griffith’s library tour centers around his book Gunflint Falling, and attendees can learn more about the events of July 4, 1999 that led to the creation of his book. Griffith has also written a series of Mystery books, and his latest Sam Rivers Mystery Dead Catch (set on Lake Vermilion) will also be discussed during his free library programs. This program tour, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF).
