Baby Storytimes are developed for babies and their caregivers, and will include lots of movement, sensory crafts, and play time!

Disney Moana Jr. Teaser event
Join the cast and crew of the Lyric Center for the Arts' Disney Moana Jr. musical for a preview of songs from the show, and for free Moana Jr. ticket giveaways! The performance will be held on the upper level of the library, during National Library Week.
Book Lover’s Tea w/ guest Jim Perlman
Publisher Jim Perlman from Holy Cow! Press will be presenting at the event and answering questions you may have about his work. Registration for this event will be required. Call 218-748-7525 to register for this event or be put on the waitlist.
Play Day
Join us in the Children's Room for free play Fridays, featuring special toys and activities! These play days are designed for children 0-5 and their caregivers, although older children can also participate.

Read the book or watch the movie adaptation of The Fault in our Stars by John Green and join us for the Virginia Public Library Book Club! All are welcome, whether you read all of the book, part of the book, or none of the book! Join us for a lively discussion and light refreshments.

Anime/Manga Club: Crafts, Bingo, and Snacks
Try origami or koinobori crafts, play manga and anime character bingo, and try snacks from other countries! This event is designed for teens and tweens, but is open to all ages.
